<BODY bgcolor="#000000" text="#ffffff" link="#ffffff" vlink="#ffffff" alink="#ffffff"> <P align="center"><IMG src="the112.gif" width="53" height="31" border="0"><IMG src="TAFLOGO2004.jpg" border="0" width="485" height="55"><FONT size="-2">TM 　　<BR> </FONT><IMG src="JOLOGO.gif" width="239" height="34" border="0" alt="jazz orchestra "> </P> <P align="center"><FONT face="Verdana">ようこそ、タイム・アフター・ファイブのホームページへ。<BR> </FONT><FONT face="Verdana" size="-2">Welcome to the homepage of the"Time After Five" Jazz Orchestra.<BR> </FONT></P> <BLOCKQUOTE> <CENTER> <DIV align="center"></DIV> <IMG src="taf2007photo111.jpg" width="633" height="473" border="0"></CENTER> </BLOCKQUOTE> <P align="center"><FONT face="Verdana" size="-1">現在2ndトランペット奏者を募集しています。「<A href="news.htm" target="sub">News・お知らせ</A>」をご覧下さい。<BR> </FONT><FONT face="Verdana" size="-2"> Currently we are looking for a trombonist and a trumpeter.<BR> If you are interested, please send us an <A href="mailto:t-tsuchida@timeafter5.com">e-mail.</A></FONT></P> <BLOCKQUOTE> <CENTER> </CENTER> </BLOCKQUOTE> <P align="center"><FONT size="-1" color="#ffffff" face="Verdana">1992年、音楽監督に元東京ユニオンのトランペッター、山内正一を迎え、<BR> 仙台市を中心に活動するビックバンドとして結成しました。<BR>現在は作・編曲をも専門とするプロトランペッター、沢野源裕を新しい音楽監督とし、 <BR> 彼の作品に意欲的に取り組んでいます。<BR> <BR> 仙台から「今」のビックバンドサウンドを、と、進化し続けるビックバンドのスタイルを追いかけ、<BR> 最先端のサウンドを追求することをバンドポリシーとして、<BR> また、独自の解釈により、<BR> 50～60年代の曲も実に新鮮なビックバンドサウンドとなるよう研究しています。<BR> <BR> 　レパートリーは、沢野源裕氏によるオリジナルやアレンジ曲、<BR> フランク・マントゥース、マット・ハリス、トム・キュービス、ドン・メンザ、チャールズ・ミンガス、秋吉敏子など。<BR> <BR> 仙台市内を中心としたライブ演奏はもちろん、近年は山形・栃木といった他県での演奏のほか、<BR> 2002年には米国ニューヨークでのコンサートもおこないました。</FONT></P> <CENTER> <BLOCKQUOTE> <CENTER><FONT face="Verdana" size="-2">The Time After Five is Sendai's finest jazz big band. <BR> The band was formed in 1992, with Syoichi YAMAUCHI (trumpeter of the famous Tokyo Union Big Band) serving as the music director. <BR> The TAF takes the cutting-edge approach to big band music, and has been pursuing the new style of big band. <BR> The repertoire includes: Frank Mantooth, Matt Harris, Tom  Kubis, Don Menza, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Charles Mingus, to name only a few. <BR> Currently, the band has SAWANO Motohiro, an alumnus of Berklee School of Music, as a composer/arranger for the band, and plays his compositions as well.<BR> This ensemble has been playing for various events in Sendai area, including the performances in the annual Jozenji Street Jazz Festival for twelve years. <BR> (Notably, the band's performance at the festival in 2002 was broadcasted by NHK-FM nation-wide.)<BR> The TAF has also enjoyed successful gigs for over ten years. Lately the band is expanding the area of playing.
